Fashion week Copenhagen guide

September 30, 2021

Where to have your morning coffee.

The morning bike ride trough a already busy Copenhagen is the most wonderful start to the day. First day of this SS22 Fashion week we took our bikes to Fredericiagade where two of our favorit breakfast spots are located; Apotek 57 and Bottega Barlie. Apotek 57 beeing the eatery inside the Frama shop known for its scandi aesthetics and now also for their sesame seeds croissants. Bottega Barley was upon our arrival very busy and so cool, we took a few minutes just standing on the other side of the street looking at all the fashion people and their outfits. We found a spot at Apotek 57 and had our brakfast in dresses from the renting collection. This silver Ganni piece is going live in just a week.

A short walk from here you have Gothersgade with loads of restaurants and cafés, popular Atelier September being one of them. For the freshly baked bread and pasterys we love to go to Buka, at Sonny you go for the home made breakfast and for polish delicacies and great coffee you have you breakfast at Seks.  If you find your self in Islands brygge Il Buco is a nice spot to have the danish national breakfast rugbrød with lurpak, nice cheese and a soft boiled egg.

Also worth mentioning is that when having breakfast or any meal at a Copenhagen restaurant you need to bring your Corona passport.

Fashion week hang out.

The very attractive seats at the shows and the exclusive events held by brands in their showrooms are
of course a highlight of the week. However a lot has happened over the last few seasons with shows beeing digital and in that way opened for everyone. Stores are trowing parties and the whole city is a catwalk in it selves with all international bloggers and press visiting the city. You might find great inspiration from the fairs beeing held every season. Ciff just outside of city center and Revolver in the meet packing district. You can also find fashion agencies opening up their showrooms and PR agencies lending out samples to wear during the week. We will make sure to update you on the specifics for the AW22 Fashion week.

Copenhagen style.

The copenhagen style is as always a colorful, innovative delight with sustainable thinking and fun styling. And you could tell that the theme of this season was happiness of being back. You could also see that we still love dressing in sets, weather they are inspired by a track suit, a pyjamas look, cotton shorts and tee or the tailored suit. The vest which these days count to our staple pieces has gotten to new dimensions, Rotate showed a white leather one and Mark Kenly Domino Tan an amazing safari version. Materials as leather is huge along with the focus of sourcing fabric that is kind to Mother earth. We loved to see the brands put on a show both digitally and in real. Find them all here.

Dress in the picture is up for renting, it is a vegan leather dress made by the Swedish brand Stand Studio. Grab her in the end.

Dinner and drinks.

The restaurant scene in Copenhagen is impressive. These are our favorites; Safari at Nørrebro, Italo Disco at Vesterbro, Apollo bar, Frank, Pompette, Osteria 16, the new Esmée or just have a good dance by your table at Pluto.

The Flowery trousers are available for rent, remaining outfits will be live shortly.
